Pilot Instruction You Can Trust

Feel confident every time you take off.

Larry’s known for giving you that extra insight you didn’t even know you needed. He has around 1,600 hours of flight time but what really sets Larry apart is his focus on practical, hands-on instruction that leaves you with more than just book knowledge. He’s a firm believer in making every flight count, whether you’re earning your wings for the first time or completing a flight review. His approach is personal, patient, and driven by a genuine love for aviation, ensuring you walk away with skills that stay with you for life.

Larry, starting at the young age of 13, painted his first truck and fell in love with the craft of restoration. His father has been his biggest supporter, guiding him through flight training and teaching him the intricacies of aircraft restoration.

A Passion Passed Down

Why Aircraft Restoration is in My Blood

I still remember the first time I picked up a paint sprayer. I was just 13, working on my first truck, and even though I didn’t know it at the time, that moment sparked a lifelong love for restoration. It feels like it happened just yesterday. From there, my journey really took off under the watchful eye of my father—my mentor, my “Pop.”

Together, we’ve taken on countless projects, each one more challenging and rewarding than the last. One that always stands out to me is our first big aircraft job, repainting a Cherokee 140. That project taught me not just the technical skills, but the pride and precision that go into restoring something as special as an aircraft.

Now, you might wonder, “What’s so special about aircraft restoration?” Well, it’s more than just putting a fresh coat of paint on a plane. For me, it’s about understanding the materials, the history, and the craftsmanship that went into it.

Certifications in SEL, Multi, Instrument, CFI, Tail Wheel, HP, SEL SP, Remote Pilot, Ground…

I specialize in remedial training and flight reviews with certifications in SEL, Multi Instrument, CFI, Tail Wheel, HP, SEL SP, Remote Pilot, Ground and more. I look forward to sharing with you what my excellent instructors and mentors have shown me over the years.  I guarantee if you do a flight review with me, you will leave with some knowledge you didn’t arrive with or its FREE.
